Helvetica

After watching the movie Helvetica I have realized just how much important text can be in a design aspect. The history of Helvetica was interesting to me because it explained how it was developed and how it blew up in the world as the universal font that almost everyone uses. I did not even notice that Helvetica was being used by so many companies everywhere, which just goes to show that people just accept  what is in front of them and don't pay a lot of attention "its just there" which was explained in the movie. Some people hate the font as it is over used because of how many people or companies have used it,  making it bland or boring. I think typography will continue to widespread the world with great fonts and soon another fade of fonts will be created and take over the world in design.
